I'm trying to think light today.  This project was fun when I started it and I really hope that it can remain that way.  It certainly has the potential to be fun.  I read every comment (after hours) and respect that not everybody sees what I am doing the same way.  I regulate the comments too because otherwise there would be comments that are way out of line for what I'm doing.

On the subject of serious (even though I'm thinking light today) I was recently thinking about how much people spend on wedding dresses, wedding rings, and weddings.  I honestly don't understand it.  I think it is crazy how much a wedding can cost today.  I don't understand diamonds either.  I can't tell the difference between a diamond and cubic zirconia except that one of them is much kinder to my checking account.  Maybe you can attribute my position to the fact that I'm a guy and maybe I shouldn't be disclosing all this as I have a girlfriend who will now examine closely any rings she gets from me.

So, you drop a ton of cash on your wedding and your rings and here in the U.S. there is a 50/50 chance it won't work out.  And if it doesn't work out, you then get to deal with the cost of a divorce.  I'm surprised nobody has put together a firm that handles both wedding planning and divorce services.  They could offer deals such as . . . have us plan your wedding and get 25% off your divorce fees.

Of course I am joking about a lot of this.  I am close to many successful marriages and I think marriage is a good thing.  It is just unfortunate that the success rate is not so high these days.
