I have three kids, and they always complain to me that I am hard to buy for, so come Christmas time I always start to leave little hints around for them so that they can have an easier time of gift buying, and I can get something I want. A good pal of mine had signed up for this Beer of the month club a while back, and I thought it would be a great thing to have, so left the computer open on the website’s page, hoping that one of the kids would see it and take the hint. It seemed to work, because come Christmas there was a nicely wrapped box of boutique beers for me under the tree, and boy was a surprised to see that they had all combine resources to get me a year long subscription. I am now waiting for my third box to arrive, having gleefully consumed the previous two – I must say the Beer of the month club was one of my better gift ideas, because it keeps on coming! Now my wife and I enjoy sharing these fantastic selections each month, and are really developing a fine taste for the microbrewers this country has – I had no idea there was such diversity in beer, but am becoming a regular connoisseur!
